I’m Enzo Mercuri, the proud owner of Enzo Mercuri Designs Inc.

As I come from an artistic background, launching a business in design and décor didn’t come as a surprise. While my passion for design ignited my entrepreneurial flame, I chose events as my industry as I loved the idea of transforming regular events into magical occasions.
I was inspired by the different weddings I attended, and the whimsical themes couples envisioned on their big day. It got me thinking about how beautifully designed backdrops create focal points and highlight the distinct features people want at their weddings. To capitalize on my thoughts, I quickly drew up a business plan and got to work.
In 2008, I built a team of design experts and introduced my company to the world of events. Almost twelve years later, I’m thrilled by the response our clients have given us through the years and the opportunity to drape their weddings.
Things are today a lot busier than they used to be as we’ve acquired more inventory and offer Canada’s largest selection of premium draping, Moreover, as a renowned special event décor company, we’ve had numerous opportunities to showcase unique and elaborate designs.
I enjoy every part of my work right from setting up to taking down events. However, the most rewarding part of my job is when clients are ecstatic about the final reveal. To ensure I exceed my clients’ expectations, I put my best effort into each event. Making every single one of my clients beyond happy through memorable events makes me very happy. This insurmountable joy motivates me to outdo myself at the next celebration. I love every event I do because no two events are ever the same, and this encourages me at the start of each day.
My time management skills, patience, and following through on client requests have helped me maintain my footing in the industry. My imaginative clients and dependable staff are also major pillars of my success, and I cherish my relationships with them.
When I am not at work or sketching custom backdrops and layouts, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also like playing sports and eating to my heart’s content. I have a profound love for food, and I try my best to sample different cuisines during my downtime.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
